Our dear friend and brother in Christ, Rev. Bobby Gale is the founder and CEO of Unto the Least of His Ministries. Bobby helps churches do real mission work in the state, in the US and around the World. Andrew has sent teams of short term missionaries to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina and to Costa Rica for construction projects and children’s ministries through UTLH. This ministry also provides water wells for people in places where water is scarce. Pastor Jimbo traveled with Bobby to Ghana, Africa in 2011 to share the Good News and see the great things God is doing through ministry partners there. Andrew has hosted the celebration event (low country boil) for UTLH for several years. Please check out the website.
Family Promise / http://www.familypromise.org/
Andrew participates as a host church for Family Promise in Houston County. This ministry provides housing and home placement resources for homeless families in this area. Host churches provide a place for the families to stay along with two meals a day for up to four families for a full week. Many volunteers are needed to support Family Promise.
Andrew is the charter organization for Cub Pack 127 and Boy Scout Troop 127. The Cub Pack meets at the church on the last Monday of each month at 6:30pm. The Boy Scout Pack meets every Monday night at the church at 7:00pm. The Pack and Troop have strong leadership and are always looking to recruit interested boys and adults.

The idea is to purchase animals for a family in order to further education and help them be able to sustain themselves, rather than simply giving straight money.
